We focus on developing language and literacy through social interactions with other children and the implementation of the highly acclaimed Jolly Phonics program. This allows us to help make reading fun by focusing on letter sounds and formation through songs that children enjoy singing.

 

We also take into account the desire of many parents to have their children learn Canada’s second official language – French! Starting at the age of 2.5 years, we welcome children to learn their alphabet, numbers, colours, and basic words in French. We also sing French songs – many of which are designed to help them learn these basic building blocks.

 

STEAM

 

In our modern era technology is important to a person’s success and we make sure your children are well equipped! In addition to incorporating technology into our teaching methods, we also help your children with engineering projects that are of interest to them and use the scientific process to solve problems.

 

Physical Activity and Nutrition

 

Children are young and full of life and energy! We know the importance of letting them play outside, which is why we make it a point to go and enjoy the outdoors two times per day! Our outdoor play space is very stimulating and will allow your children to develop a variety of physical skills. Additionally, if the weather doesn’t permit outside play, our teachers physical well-being by allowing them to engage in movement with different types of music.

 

Mindful Awareness

 

As important as it is for children to run and play, we also believe that it is important for young children to rest and maintain their well-being. Because of this, we make it a point to give them time to rest and re-center themselves. Children who do not wish to nap are given quite table activities that help them feel calm and focused.
